To make your Disney World experience seamless, download the My Disney Experience Mobile App for Apple and Android cellular phones. It is free.

This service allows you to conveniently access theme park tickets, reservations, PhotoPasses, usage of the virtual queue and Lightning Lane, and Mobil food service options. My Disney Experience is user-friendly, and if you have further questions, guest service cast members are stationed in the park to assist you.

In Conclusion Pro-Tips

Walt Disney World and Universal are huge properties. Generally, from October through April, you will find plenty of sunshine and pleasant weather. May through September, it can be humid and hot with afternoon thunderstorms. Don’t let this discourage you from planning your magical visit. Most of the daily storms last only briefly before the sun returns.

  • Make sure you wear comfortable shoes and clothing for the time of year you are visiting. Clothing and shoes may sound like common knowledge, but many visitors are unaware of the climate conditions and dress for those priceless pictures. Bring a change of clothes if you plan to take Instagram or memorable photos. Lockers are available for rental, so you are not left holding these extra items.
  • I suggest purchasing a rain poncho from the local convenience shop, which is less expensive, and bringing it with you if your visit is during the liquid sunshine time of the year. Poncho umbrellas are widely available in all parks.
  • Sunscreen: the Florida sun is intense! I have seen many visitors have their time interrupted by a nasty sunburn. Sunscreen is a must!
  • Stay hydrated! Disney and most all attractions in Orlando will allow you to bring water into the parks with the exception of glass bottles/containers. If you have a reusable one, there are drinking stations where you can refill it throughout the day.
  • Lastly, it is essential to take breaks. One of the perks of staying on a Disney or Universal property is entering the park one hour earlier than the general public. Often, the lines are shorter for most rides. In addition, when the day becomes unbearably hot, your friends or family are hungry. Easily exit the park same day same park reentry is allowed. Take a dip at resort pool or enjoy the air-con while dining. Refreshed after the short break, return to the park to soak up more of your magical vacation.

I hope you found this 7-day adventure guide to Orlando valuable and informative to plan your next vacation adventure.
